I have over 20 years personal development experience working with a variety of individuals and companies from diverse backgrounds, seeking help for a great range of issues and problems. In that time I have earned the reputation of being able to provide an atmosphere of safety, respect and optimism for the capacity to overcome difficulties. In the process, my clients develop an increased sense of satisfaction and effective control over their lives.
I am the director for Life Balance Centre, an holistic mental health clinic in the midlands for individuals and companies.
As a postgraduate, I studied Psychodynamic counselling at the University of Oxford; I was originally trained as an Experimental Psychologist at the University of Sussex and further as a Psychotherapist and Ergonomist at the University of Birmingham. I have also been appointed as honorary lecturer at Birmingham University since 2003. I have had various positions in the NHS and private sector (BUPA, Priory etc.) until embarking in the running of my own clinic in Birmingham (LBC) since 2005.
I am also the TV Psychotherapist/Presenter For Channel 4's 'The Hoarder Next Door', an MBACP Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy MBPsS Member British Psychological Society.
